Terms of Use & Contributor License Agreement
The rules for using CheerLibrary and the license you grant when you contribute to the library.
Last updated July 2026
1. Acceptance
By accessing CheerLibrary you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Community Guidelines, and the Safety disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You may browse CheerLibrary without an account. To contribute or track skills you need an account, and you must be old enough to hold one under the laws of your country (or have a parent or guardian manage the account for you — profiles for users under 18 stay private with reduced information; see the Privacy Policy).
You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms or the Community Guidelines; suspended accounts can no longer sign in.
3. Safety disclaimer
Content is provided for reference only and is not coaching. See the Safety page. You assume all risk associated with practising any skill described here.
4. Contributor License Agreement (CLA)
When you submit content (text, edits, notes, or links), you keep your copyright, and you grant CheerLibrary a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and commercial license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute that content in any medium. You represent that the contribution is your own work and does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
5. Public content license
Community-contributed content is displayed under CC BY-NC 4.0: the community may share and adapt it non-commercially with attribution; only CheerLibrary may use it commercially. Embedded third-party videos are not covered by these licenses and remain subject to their source platform’s terms.
6. Conduct
You agree not to submit unlawful, infringing, harmful, or spam content, and to follow our Community Guidelines. We may remove content and suspend accounts that breach these Terms.
7. No warranty & limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CheerLibrary is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced on the site. Continuing to use CheerLibrary after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
